The founders of NoMoreClipboard created one of the first (and one of the few) commercially viable HIEs in the United States. Today, that HIE is accessible by nearly 95 percent of the healthcare providers in Northeast Indiana and carries 1.5 million HL7 messages each month. Unlike stand-alone or tethered personal health record applications, NoMoreClipboard is fully interoperable and able to exchange data with health information exchanges using standard protocols. NoMoreClipboard demonstrated the ability to share information with an HIE as part of the NHIN initiative. NoMoreClipboard is also active with IHE, and was the only PHR participating fully in the HIMSS 09 Interoperability Showcase. NoMoreClipboard has also developed an online toolset that simplifies data comparison and reconciliation between the PHR and an HIE or other healthcare IT application.
